Meet my little friends Caoimhe and Fiadh (daughters of some bigger friends). These two little girls both have Cystic Fibrosis. Each day they need physiotherapy (breathing masks, nebulisers etc) and take medication to remove the sticky mucus from their lungs. They will have to keep doing this for the rest of their lives. There is no cure, but there is hope.
In early May, myself, the girls’ dad and a bunch of other people will cycle from the most northerly location in Ireland - Malin Head to the most southerly tip in the country – Mizen. This is just over 600k and while there may be a little pain and discomfort, it is nothing like my little friends endure on an ongoing basis.
I am on a fund-raising mission to help (among other things) build new care Units in Ireland and to provide funding for medical and scientific research into Cystic Fibrosis.
Please donate as much as you can by pressing the GIVE NOW button below and follow the instructions.
Many thanks in advance
